FAQ’s

What is Celebrations Cake and Confectionery Education?

Throughout the month, Celebrations hosts several events and classes relating to cake decorating and candy making.
Some nights, we host fun evenings of Eating, Drinking and Decorating geared towards couples (although everyone is welcome). During the week, we host more serious cake decorating and candy making classes focusing on skill development. We teach Basic Cake Decorating Classes, Advanced Cake Decorating Classes, Working with Gum Paste, Working with Fondant and many other mediums of decorating.
Please Visit our Calendar of events and classes.

Will I experience full hands-on participation?

All classes are hands-on, participation with instructors providing help and guidance throughout the session.

Each class begins with a demonstration of what you are going to make. Then it’s your turn to decorate! When you are done, we will box up your creation for you to take home to share with your family and friends.

What is included?

Absolutely everything!

Unlike other companies, we supply you with everything you need to decorate your masterpiece from the cake itself, to the tools required, right down to the box to take your creation home in. All that you need to bring is your desire to have a great time!

Every student will receive a class-specific decorating kit to take home to continue celebrating and decorating!

If I come with friends or a group, can we all sit together?

If you would like to sit with friends, please put their names in the “comment” box located above where you enter your name at the top of the check-out page. We will do our very best to accommodate you.

I have never decorated anything before! Is that OK?

YES!

The instruction is geared to promote a successful finished creation no matter what your skill level. If you are an experienced Decorator, you will be free to improvise as much as you want.

What about food and drinks?

The Postern Grille is a uniquely stylish restaurant located in the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center.

Celebration’s guests are encouraged to arrive for their event at least 20 minutes (why not come even earlier and have dinner?) prior to the official start time so that they can settle in and visit the Postern Grille for refreshments. There will a break halfway through the class so that you can stretch your legs and revisit the bar.
